牛津小学英语 6A Unit 5 Signs (story time)教学设计

【教学目标】
本单元的话题为“公共标志“。教师在教学过程中药紧密联系生活实际,引导学生关注标志,讨论标志,做遵守公共法规和秩序的社会公民。本课作为语篇教学,重在帮助学生了解掌握故事的内容,通过学习,掌握正确的阅读方法,在掌握基础知识的前提下,提高学生的阅读能力。根据本课的特点,结合以上分析,我确定本课的教学目标如下:
1. 学生能初步能理解并且会听、会说、会读单词及词组:wet floor, No littering
No eating or drinking , a restaurant ,No smoking, shopping centre, smell ,careful
2. 学生能初步感知句型,能初步听懂并且会读句型:What does this mean? 和It means …
3. 学生能初步理解本篇故事并能复述和表演故事。
4. 情感教育:学生能明白标志在我们日常生活中的意义和重要性。
【学情分析】
六年级的学生经过几年的英语学习,对英语学习兴趣浓厚,并积累了一定的词汇量,乐于用英语表达自己的观点。本课教师试图通过听、读、合作对话等方式,激发学生参与课堂的积极性;并通过教师示范,提供图片及语句支持,提高学生的学习能力,培养学生的语言表达能力。
【重点、难点】
1. 学生能初步能理解并且会听、会说、会读单词及词组:wet floor, No littering
No eating or drinking , a restaurant ,No smoking, shopping centre, smell ,careful

教学过程
Step 1. Warming up
1. greeting
T:Class begins.Good morning ,boys and girls.
S:Good morning,Miss Jin.
2. Chant
3.Game:Respond quickly
T:I think you all like games? First ,let’s play a game “Respond quickly”
S:说出动词以及no no no
T:(利用刚呈现的动词以及禁令标志引出标志的称呼以及相应表达的意思)the two pictures together no shout. No+Ving
设计意图:在导入环节先设计了一个游戏,既复习了旧知识又能活跃课堂气氛,学生学的轻松,教学效率大大提高.接着由动作shout引入标识no shouting,让学生对标识有个大概的印象。
Steping 2. Lead-in and presentation
1. Lead-in
(1)T:It calls no shouting.What does it mean?(教授新单词mean)
S:It means you can not shout here.(引导学生进行回答,并教授句型)
Show 2 pictures and practise the dialogues with boys and girls.
Show 5pictures and let Ss practise the sentences.
(2)T:Boys and girls.You know all of the pictures,They are signs.(呈现标题)
设计意图:再导入主题时,不能太直白,所以通过常见的标识图片,让学生对sign有了解。句型的回答通过之前的铺垫,也不太难回答。
Ss learn the word:sign.
Ss make new phrases .
揭示课题.
设计意图:通过图片说明这些都是标识,使学生易于理解,也很自然的揭示了课题。
(3)T:.where can we see the signs?
S:We can see the sign in/at….
T:Yes . We can see them in the park,in the museum,in the restaurant ,in the library and at a shopping centre.(teach: restaurant、shopping centre )。
Ss make new phrases(指导介词in \at 的用法)
2. presentation
(1)Mike,Tim and Helen go to some places.Now,Let’s watch and answer: What signs can they see?(teach four signs)
Try to find where the signs are.
Let’s put the pictures in the right order.
设计意图:通过三步骤问题:What signs can they see?Try to find where the signs are.Let’s put the pictures in the right order.使学生整体的感知,并初步熟悉课文。
(2)shopping centre part
S:Mike, Jim and Helen are in the shopping centre first.
T:They talk something in there .Let’s have a look and try to fill in the blank.
Which one do you choose?
Ss:(1)Choose(2)learn the oral sentence:Be careful(3)Then listen and imitate.
(3)Juice shop part
T :Secondly they go to the juice shop.do the exercise true or false ,
and underline the key sentences。
Ss:Do it and try to retell this part.
设计意图:本环节中,主要通过看,想,读,说来进行教学。其中 careful 是新单词,通过副词carefully来教授,降低难度。
(4)Bookshop part
T:Thirdly ,they go to the bookshop .Please think and say what can’t we do in the bookshop?
T:Helen wants to go in.Can she go in ?Why? Please read and underline the key sentences.
S:You can’t take your juice in the shop. The sign means you can’t eat or drink here.
T:Let’s learn the new phrase :take…into…
S:Read the part together
(5)Restraurant part
T:From this picture can you guess what happened?Think and imagine.他们会对那个男人说什么?
Ss:Listen and remember.Listen and repeat.
设计意图:为了在课上充分调动学生的积极性,成为学习的主人,多说英语,锻炼口语以及交际能力。设置了一些思考性的问题,让学生从实际中思考,说出自己的想法。
Step 3.Consolidation

设计意图:注重学生的小组合作学习能力、口头和书面的表达能力,要做到学以致用。
4. show time
T:We need sign in our life .choose one place you like best and make a short play in groups.
Ss:Prepare and show.
