环 节 一
| Step1. Warming up T:Boys and girls.Today let’s learn English together. Can you read the title? First, do you want to know more about me? Let’s enjoy some pictures. (照片主题突出“享受美食”,教师对照片作简单介绍) T:This is my family. What do we like ? T: Yes, I like eating. We like all the yummy food. So we are foodies. T: Wow, we are all foodies. There is a cafe. There is lots of yummy food. Let’s go and have a look. Step2. Presentation 1. Enjoy some pictures (播放line friends照片) T: This is a lovely cafe. Can you read its name? Ss: line friends cafe. T: And this is the manager, he’s Brown(布朗店长). Brown is the thematic character of Line friends cafe. There are Browns every where. (引出布朗店长这个主题人物, Ss say “ Hello” to Brown T: Let’s listen, what does Brown say? (播放布朗录音,告知咖啡店因为时常有外国顾客光临,需要会说英语的小志愿者的帮助) T: Do you like this cafe? Would you like to join us? T: Wow, you are all volunteers today. 2. Show training list. T: Look, Brown is your trainer today. If you want to be a good volunteer, you have to pass three tasks today. Task1: Know well about the food and drinks on the menu. (熟悉菜单上的食物名称) Task2: Volunteering experience — know well to offer people. (小志愿者初体验 — 熟悉招待和点餐用语,为客人提供最佳服务) Task3: Emergency treatment. (应急训练营) 3. Task1 (1) Know well about the food on the menu. a. Think and say T: What food do you know? Ss: Try to name some food. b. Think and spell T: This time , can you spell them? (复习拼写已知的几个食物单词:noodles, rice, hamburger, sandwich, cake, pie) T: If you can spell, just stand up and spell loudly. T: Brown says “this is a western shop, what food don’t we have on the menu?” (PPT出示Brown的小贴士) S1: Noodles and rice. T:Why? T:You’re right! Because they are Chinese food. What about them? T: Great! They are Western food. C. Learn more words about food. Show the menu T: So we have hamburger, sandwich, cake and pie on the menu. Of course, there is some other food. Let’s see! 阴影呈现菜单上剩余四种拓展食物 T: What is it? (阴影消失) T: Can you read this word? Ss: put. T: /P/, /P/, put. How about this word? Ss try to read “pudding”. T: /P/,/P/, pudding. T: Wow, what are they? (阴影消失) Ss:Noodles. T:Right, they are noodles.But in western countries, they call it pasta.(PPT出示关于意面的小贴士) Ss read together. T:Here comes my favourite steak. T:/ei/,/ei/,great. /ei/, /ei/, steak. Ss read together. T:What do we need to eat steak? PPT出示选项图片( A.筷子 B.刀 C.叉) Ss: B and C. T: Yes, we need a knife and a fork. T: We usually use the fork with the left hand and use the knife with the right hand. T: There is also some soup on the menu. This is borsch(罗宋汤)and this is mushroom soup(蘑菇汤)。 Ss read the words. T: As a western restaurant, we usually follow the serving order. First, appetizer. Next, main course. Finally, dessert. 引导学生给菜单上的食物按西餐的上菜步骤进行分类。 T: Normally, soup is the appetizer(汤归类为前菜). What are the desserts? Ss: Pudding and cake. T:You are right. What about the rest of them? T:Yes, they are all main course. Remember the serving order, ok? (2) Know well about the drinks on the menu. a. Think and say T: What drinks do you know? Ss: Try to name some drinks. b. Think and spell T: This time , can you spell them? (复习拼写已知的几个饮料单词:a cup of tea, a glass of juice, a cup of coffee ) Boys spell& Girls spell. T: Brown says “Line friends cafe is a western shop, what drinks don’t we have on the menu?” (PPT出示Brown的小贴士) S1: A cup of tea. T:Why? T: You’re right! Because it’s green tea, it’s the traditional Chinese tea, it’s healthy, we all like it. But we don’t have green tea on the menu. We have some other tea. C. Learn more about drinks. ( PPT出示a cup of black tea, a cup of bubble tea, Milk tea) T: Can you read them? Tips: Black tea is originated in China, and it’s very popular in western countries now. T: I like bubble tea very much. How about you? Which tea do you like? T: There is different taste of juice in line friends cafe. Can you try to guess the taste?(PPT出示一些水果图片提示) Ss: A glass of … juice. T: Let’s see what juice we have on the menu. (PPT出示菜单上的果汁) Ss: A glass of orange juice, a glass of peach juice, a glass of apple juice. T: There is also different coffee on the menu. ( PPT出示 a cup of black coffee, a cup of mocha ) T: Coffee is delicious, but you are too young to drink coffee, ok? Ss read the words.
| 本课采用男女竞赛,回答问题得星,获胜的一组将得到一份礼物!) 正式上课之前,出示本课的学习目标并明确本课采用男女生竞赛的激励形式,既是让学生了解一节课的学习内容又调动了学生的学习积极性,让学生一开始就投入到课堂学习中。
老师采用自我介绍的方式,营造一个轻松的英语交流情景,点出课题at the snack bar,师生围绕“snack bar”这一个点开展free talk。在交流对话的过程中复习运用了句型would you like… yes, please. No, thank you.
设置一个情境,引入line friends café,通过完成三个培训任务,引起孩子的学习兴趣。
首先复习食物饮料类的单词,先读再拼,加强学生对单词的记忆。
设计一个志愿者体验,餐厅里面来了一位外国人和小朋友,让学生利用黑板和ppt上面的句型和手上上面的菜单,孩子们通过小组练习可以将学到的句型应用到现实生活中。
拓展几个食物,可以让孩子们了解更多的西餐单词。
在学习西餐单词的时候,可以适当拓展一些西餐礼仪。
让学生们了解西餐有一个上餐顺序。前菜,主食,点心,小吃。
复习饮料类单词,同时拓展一些其他饮料,如green tea, milk tea, bubble tea, black tea等。

环 节 二
| T: We have finished Task1. Let’s move on to Task2. For this task, you are going to know well to offer people. (1) Listen and tick T: Look, line friends cafe has some guests today. They are Yang Ling and her friends. Let’s listen what they would like? Ss listen and tick. T&Ss: check the answer. (2) Think and choose. T: Look, Brown is ready to order for them. This time, can you try to complete the dialogue for Brown, Yang Ling and Wang Bing. Ss choose the sentences for their dialogue. Ss read the dialogue. (3) Let’s review. T: What sentences can we use to offer and order? 引导学生复习归类招待和点餐的用语,教师写在黑板上。 (4) Make new dialogues, T: Now please use all these sentences, it’s your turn to make new dialogues for Brown, Su Hai and Liu Tao. Remember what they would like. Ss work in three and try to make dialogues. (5) Let’s learn more. T: Boys and girls, now you know so well about offering and ordering. But it is not easy to offer people in real life. Let’s watch a video to learn more. (播放视频,引导学生从中学习更多的招待点餐用语) T: What sentences do you learn from the video? 学生尝试说出更多的招待点餐用语。 教师板书拓展用语:Welcome to … Something to eat / drink? I want … How much is it/ are they? T: What manners do you learn from the video? 引导学生说说招待点餐礼仪,并结合图片学习礼仪小知识。 Tip1: 向客人鞠躬表示欢迎。 Tip2: 在西餐厅,服务员会为客人挪凳子,提供最佳服务。 Tip3: 安静用餐,讲礼貌,是作为顾客的礼仪表现哦! (6) Volunteering experience T: Look, here comes a foreign guest, he would like an appetizer, a main course, a dessert. This time , it’s your turn to be a volunteer. Work in pairs, try to make dialogues, pay attention to the manners, ok? Ss try to be volunteers and make dialogues. 教师根据学生的点餐食物、礼仪文化进行评价。

通过一个点餐视频,让同学们了解更多关于招待和点餐的句型引导同学们自己去发现这些句型。

| 5. Task3 (应急训练营) (1) Emergency treatment T: Sometimes we order food on Mei Tuan. One day, a foreign guest ordered some food on Mei Tuan. What did he order?(PPT出示外国客人在Tony美团上点的外卖) T: Brown ordered for him. Let’s see what he ordered for the guest.(出示小票) T: Is he right? Ss: No T: Brown made a mistake. What can he do? Can you help him? T: Please help Brown write the message and reorder with the guest.(引导学生帮助布朗编写短信,重新和美团客人确认下单) 6.Know more. T: Boys and girls, do you like line friends cafe? What western restaurants do you know in China? T: Yes. We can see Macdonald’s, KFC, Pizaa Hut every where in China. People love Chinese food too. There are Chinese restaurants all over the world. Remember “ Food without borders”.
