Unit 6 Keep our city clean(Story time)

教学目标:

1.能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词keep, clean, make, dirty等

2.能听懂、会说、会读句型What makes…dirty /messy? …makes…dirty / messy. What can we do to…? We can…

3.能流利的朗读课文并掌握课文内容。

4.通过课文内容的学习,知道使我们的城市保持干净的措施,培养学生的环保意识。

教学过程:

Step 1 Warm up

1.Listen to the song :Two little blackbirds.

T:Do you like birds?       SS:Yes, I do.

What birds do you know?

Can you see any birds near your house?

Where can you see any birds?

设计意图:学生都喜欢已歌曲和游戏导入新课,在此用一首歌曲导入新课,既活跃了课堂气氛,又自然了导入了本课的主题。

2.呈现图片

 教师向学生展示两组城市图片。第一组图片呈现风景优美、环境幽雅的城市,第二组图片呈现一个污染严重、又脏又乱的城市。

T:These pictures are of City A.

What can you see in these pictures?

T: Do you like City A? Why?

T: Now, let’s look at some pictures of City B. What can you see?

T: Do you ike City B ?Why ? What’s wrong with City B?

T:Look, I usually take a walk in the park. I often to boating.  I like flying kites. Look at these pictures. It’s our city. It’s beautiful and clean.We live in the city, so we should keep our city clean.

揭题:Unit 6 keep our city clean

设计意图:老师在此用两组图片进行对比来烘托出本课的题目,引出保护环境的主题。

 

Step 2 Presentation

1. T: Look , who are they? Let’s look at their city

新授: messy, dirty

2. T: The city is messy and dirty. Why? What can you see in these pictures?

新授: smoke from cars , smoke from factories, rubbish, dead fish

3. T: Now please open your books, read P58 and find

新授: A: What makes our city dirty?

  B: …makes…dirty

What makes our city dirty?

设计意图:通过表格的形式将文本第一部分进行了很好的梳理。本文老师在梳理的过程中紧紧的围绕“造成污染的原因”这个问题,对课文的前半部分进行梳理及剖析。

4. Ask Ss to read Page59

Q: What can we do to keep our city clean?

1) Read the dialogue on Page59 and find out their solutions to the problems.

2)Listen the answers on the blackboard

5. Do you have any problems while reading?

Q: How do you solve the problems?

SS: We can keep our school clean…

6.Listen and repeat

设计意图:学生通过小组学习,找出课文中保护环境的措施,提高自主学习能力。同时思考除了课文中提到的方法,还有哪些方法保护我们的环境。通过小组之间交流学习方法,学生提高发现问题解决问题的能力。
