6B Unit1 The lion and the mousestory time

二、教材简解:

Unit1 The lion and the mousestory time是牛津英语苏教版6B新教材六年级下学期第一单元的一个寓言故事。通过故事叙述的形式,很好地再现了一般过去时的用法,将动词过去式的不规则变化,形容词变为副词规律及其使用方法也渗透在了故事中。

三、目标预设

1. 语言知识、技能目标:

(1)能理解并掌握短文中涉及的单词和短语。njy-com

(2)让学生进一步巩固一般过去时,注意不规则动词过去式的写法和读音;了解形容词变为副词的基本规律及其用法。

(3)能理解短文内容。

(4)能在key words 的帮助下复述故事。

3. 情感、态度目标:

(1)通过各种活动培养学生的阅读兴趣。

(2) 培养学生的英语思维能力。

(3)通过学习本课的故事,让学生了解朋友的含义。

四、教学重、难点:

教学重点:

1.能理解并掌握短文中涉及的单词和短语。

2.能理解短文内容。

3.培养学生的英语思维能力。

教学难点:

1.能在key words 的帮助下复述故事。

2.让学生进一步巩固一般过去时,并注意不规则动词过去式的写法和读音;了解形容词变为副词的额基本规律及其用法。

3.通过学习本课的故事,让学生懂得朋友的含义。

五、设计理念:

六年级的学生,在词汇量、基本语法等语言知识方面已经有了一定的积累,而随着年龄的增加,心智也慢慢在成熟,学习的积极性和热情也随之趋于深度化,不再满足于表面热闹的游戏,一般传统的呈现方式很难激起他们学习的兴趣和欲望而显得枯燥乏味。因此,教学内容的设计围绕对“朋友”的理解,紧紧抓住了学生的注意力,打开了学生的思维,在学生“学”老师“导”的过程中锻炼了学生的语言能力和思维能力。同时在理解课文内容,理顺句子含义时,完成新授词汇的教学,体现词不离句,句不离境的教学理念。

六、设计思路:

      学生阅读能力的培养,思维的训练以及思维能力的培养是高年级英语教学的一个重要目标。本单元的story time部分是关于狮子和老鼠的一个寓言故事。故事内容比较简单,学生易于理解。同时将一般现在时的用法渗透在故事的叙述中,也通过故事的叙述,将部分动词的过去式不规则变化以及副词的运用很好地呈现了出来。最后所揭示“朋友”的意义也值得探讨和深思。本课设计基于上述对本课内容的理解,通过“朋友”这条主线,先通过free talk中关于“Who is your friend?”Why?”的随机询问,,然后带着疑问学习故事。在学习的过程中,通过各种任务和学生间的合作,掌握本课时的语言知识,通过复述课文,培养学生语言的运用能力。最后引入学生喜爱的“Tom and Jerry”的动画视频,追问:“Are they friends?”通过让学生讨论和总结的方式对“朋友”进行重新定义和思考。

七、教学过程:

Step 1.Warm up

Sing a song: Make new friends

Free talk:

T: Who is your friend?

S:…is my friend.

T: Why?

S1:Because we often play together.

S2:We have the same hobby.

S3:We help each other.

T:Good! Everynone has friends.We can play together,we can help each other,we can do the same things… Boys and girls, do you want to make new more friends? Who can to be your friend? What kind of people can become your friend?(Write dowm the last question on the blackboard)

【设计意图:通过歌曲和师生的聊天中,不知不觉中将学生带入到对“朋友”的定义中,同时抛出问题:谁能成为你的朋友?什么样的人可以成为你的朋友?将学生的思维牢牢抓住后导入新课】

Step 2 Pre-reading

T:Humans have a friend,Animals also have friends.Dogs and cats can to be friends,ducks and chickens can to be friends.Can a lion and a mouse to be friends?

Show the picture of a lion.

T:What do you think of this lion?

S1:He is big.

S2:He is strong.

T:Yes,he is big and strong.

To teach the word :storng,ask the students to read and spell it.

Show the picture of the mouse?

T:What do you think of this mouse?

S1:He is small.

S2:He is weak.

T:Yes,he is small and weak.

To teach the word :weak,ask the students to read and spell it.

T:Can they become friends? Let’s watch the cartoon.

【设计意图:通过举例动物界的朋友,引出本课故事主人公:狮子和老鼠,以图片的形式,相机呈现描述这两种动物的单词bigstrong                     smallweak ,也随机完成新授单词 strongweak的教学

Step3 While-reading

一、     The students watch the cartoon,then do the exercise.

c.     The lion could not get out from the net.

d.     The mouse woke the loin up.

e.     The lion let the mouse go.

f.     The mouse helped the lion get out.

2.Ask the students to circle the past tense verbs in these sentences.

(1)Show them:

catch-caught,become-became,can-could,wake-woke,let-let

help-helped

(2)To teach them: wake-woke,let-let

(3)Read the past tense verbs and the sentences.

(1)Talk them with your partners.

(2)Let two students to question and answer for each question.

(3)Show the correct answers.

在问答问题的过程中,要求学生划出关键句子,并进行相关单词和词组的教学;同时圈出动词过去时;列举文中形容词、副词,呈现变化规律: walk…by,wake…up,some day,say quietly,laugh

(4)Do some exercises:

将下列单词改为副词:

sad-      quick-        excited-       angry-

Learning  tips:形容词变为副词,一般在形容的词尾加上ly;当单词末尾是辅音加y结尾的,要将y变为i再加ly

【设计意图:让学生边课学习文内容边圈出动词过去式,有的已学过、接触过,这样的教学和总结,体现句不离境,词不离句,情景教学的理念,同时也能让学生更好地理解、掌握和运用相关知识。】

【通过小组练习和表演,增强合作意识。通过同桌的帮助练习,根据板书上的关键单词,复述故事内容。最后欣赏学生喜欢的Tom and Jerry的动画片段,通过提问:Are they friends?Why? 最终回归到课始时提出的问题:What kind of people can become to your frind?使学生对“朋友”的定义带入到更深层面的思考和讨论中。】

Step5 Homework:
