Step 1 Warming-up

T:(出示单词卡片shout)

T: What did you do just now?

T:(板书shout和shouted)No. You shouted.

教师出示一些表示动作和运动的单词(talk、walk、play、push、jump、skate、dance)要求学生看图认读单词,并做出相应的动作。然后追问学生刚才做了什么动作,引出相关动作的过去式。老师在多媒体上呈现两组动词,一组为动词原形,另一组为动词的过去式。

Step 2 Pre-reading

1.Self-introduction

T: Do you have any hobbies?

   Ask me, please. Guess?

   Yes, I like going shopping. Because I like new clothes.

2. Show the clothes

T: Look at the clothes. How nice! They are beautiful! They are…(teach “beautiful”、 “What beautiful clothes!”) “light”一词以前学过“灯”的意思,可复习一下,以旧促新。

 Let’s chant: Soft and light, soft and light. Beautiful clothes I like to wear(穿)!

Step3 While-reading

1.  Teach “king”, “rich”

Look and guess: What is the man wearing?

Perhaps/Maybe he’s wearing …

Teach: king, rich, The king isn’t wearing any clothes.

2. Talk about the background

T: Do you know the story? It happened long long ago. Who can tell me the name of the story?

T: The story is written by Andersen in 1837.

In the story, the king’s clothes are new. But the story is very, very old.

Let’s go back to 1837 and listen to the story.

3. Watch the cartoon and and try to find out:

1)the time: When did the story happen?

(Learn: long long ago, was, were)

2)the main characters: Who are in the story?

King、Two tailors(cheaters)、People、Boy

4. learn Paragraph 1.

1)Listen and answer: Why did the two men visit the king? What did they say ?

2)Read it together.

 (pay attention to the pronunciation of the words: liked, visited)

T: Are two men good people? They are cheaters. (PPT: cheater 骗子) They are foxy(狡猾的).

 Can you read like him? (My king ,we can make new clothes for you.)        

T: I think you can read them well. (学生自读,教师学生互动表演)

5. learn Paragraph 2.

1)read and complete the following sentence:

According to the two men, the king’s new clothes are       .

Because .(learn: magic, clever, foolish)

6.Paragraph 3 and 4: read in pairs/groups and act.

1)The king walked through the city in his new clothes.

Learn: walk through.

2)What did the people say?

3)What did the boy say?

4)Learn the new words: shout, point at, laugh.

And pay attention to the pronunciation of the words: looked, shouted, pointed, laughing

5)What do you think of the boy and the people in the street? Why? Who is right?

 A proverb: Be honest rather than clever.

Step4 Post-reading

1. Read the story.

Try to learn the pronunciation and the intonation.

指导学生在6人小组内充分操练后生动形象地演绎出整个故事。

3. Grammar

The past tense words of it

  T: Ss , can you find out the past tense words in it?

  Show the column of them and the rules of past tense.

  1) 动词过去式的规则变化

  2)规则动词的词尾读音

Step4 Homework:

1.抄写十个单词(1X4)(clever、foolish、laugh、shout、magic、clever、foolish、through、laugh、wear)

2.抄写两个词组(1X1)(long long ago、point at)

3.熟读课文,至少三遍。试着复述。

学生第一次接触到一般过去时,所以在此需要有个过渡。

一般现在时引出一般过去时,学生对过去时有初步的了解。起到以旧促新的作用。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chant 是小学生非常喜欢的形式,在此设计chant让学生及时巩固新知。

通过chant中的服饰类词汇自然过渡句I’m wearing …,进而引出本课主人公the king,引导学生对这张人物图片提出自己的疑问,如: Who’s he? What does he like? 等。接着引导学生根据图片描述一下这位国王以激活并训练学生现有的语言表达能力。

 

 

指导学生学会听的技巧。

 

 

 

 

 

 

教师出示问题,通过这些问题指导学生了解2个段落的意思并从中学习新单词。

 

 

帮助学生提炼并理解故事寓意:诚实比聪明更重要

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

通过学生自读划线的阅读方式,引出新词的学习,以旧带新,解决foolish的发音难点,正确朗读文本;通过对两个骗子的话语的指导,师生之间的互动操练,使学生更好的进行文本朗读。  

英语故事的学习,首先能够正确朗读,其次能够有感情的朗读,最后能够生动表现。通过跟录音朗读,学生正确模仿语音语调进行朗读。了解人物特点,使得学生的表演更为生动有趣。
